MARY MCDERMOTT - CREATIVE DIRECTOR www.wemakelondon.co.uk

Mary is the main organiser and owner of We Make London. She does all the hard graft including managing the rest of the team and making sure things run smoothly.

"In such a price conscious climate buyers are thinking more about how they spend their money, by buying handmade they know they are buying unique, quality items while supporting small independent designer-makers and businesses."

As well as running We Make London, she has previously worked professionally in the jewellery business for 13 years and as a freelance events organiser. Mary is currently focusing all her attention on We Make London to continue to deliver affordable opportunities to designer-makers and unite buyers with designer-makers who offer something unique in today’s fast-paced, throw-away world of mass production.

As well as working hard on the We Make London events and projects Mary is the first point of contact for anyone who is dealing with We Make London such as stall holders and Press.

Jo Askey is a Cheshire-based illustrator and graphic designer. Jo is responsible for the design and layout of Inspired:London.

She is inspired by the quirky and the poignant and by the beauty in every day objects and situations. She loves to focus on the little details that can sometimes go unnoticed.

 Anna Stassen is a Surrey-based designer-maker and freelance editor. In 2008, Anna and a group of fellow designer-makers set up www.ukhandmade.co.uk, a social enterprise run by designer-makers for designer-makers providing them with advice and support.

Anna was Editor of UK Handmade Magazine until August 2012 and co-edited Inspire:London.

Bebe Bradley is a Dorset-based designer-maker and freelance editor. Bebe is the current editor of UK Handmade Magazine and co-edited Inspire:London.

Julie Smallwood is a London-based jewellery designer-maker and works as an investor relations manager for a private equity firm. Julie is responsible for proof reading Inspire:London.

Abi Bansal is a Bristol-based photographer and stylist. Abi is responsible for the title page and front cover photography. 

Abi has been utilising her combined experience as a Designer, Writer and Photographer and has been working freelance in some form of creative field since 2005.

SIOBHIAN CARROLL - RETOUCHING www.siobhiancarroll.com

Siobhian Carroll is a London-based freelance digital artist with a traditional art background specialising in retouching, photo-manipulation and illustration. 

Siobhian often combines all of her skills to create very unique digital mixed media work. Siobhian is responsible for the image retouching.
